Sorry for all the delays in getting this info to you. Change in formats, field space issues, and complications slowed this announcement.

Here's the scoop.

Like past years, the league will be open to all skill levels and coed.

The league entry fee this year will be $20 and INCLUDE a 2004 Austin Summer League Disc. League fees will be paid to your captain THE FIRST night of pay. Cash or a check to UT Men's Ultimate. Didn't want a disc? Sorry, after 95% of all players bought a disc last year, it was too complicated to have a no disc option, and slowed down the disc order.

This year's summer league will last 6 weeks. Teams will play 2 games on one night a week, either on Tuesday or Thursday. You may specify one of these two days if one day is better for you than the other. Followed by a one day tournament all day on Saturday July 17th. All games and the tournament will play at UT's Intramural Fields located at 51st and Guadeloupe. The first day of play is scheduled for June 6th.

Teams will be randomly drafted, although you may play with a friend/partner/spouse IF both players list each other in the "partners name" category of the registration, and both are available on the same nights (tues or thurs).

If you've played in the league in the past, you know the number of teams and team sizes has always been dictated by the number of ladies signed up. So if you want more playing time, invite new players and try and up the number of ladies that want to play summer league.
