TUFF 2008-2009
This team showed that it had great potential from the start. Although they didn't finish well in many of the early tournaments, the entire year was a story of growth. Sectionals was the first real marker of the team's progress all season. With a big win against North Texas in the finals, TUFF won the tournament. The confidence gained at Sectionals led them to go undefeated at Regionals, with an exciting finals game against Kansas. At Nationals, TUFF played brilliantly, defeating Wisconsin and Pittsburgh in pool play, and winning their pool. Unfortunately, they lost to Colorado in the semifinals, finishing third in the nation.
